KCC ENGINEERING

KCC Engineering inception was in the year 1998 and founder of the company, Mr.Bevis Errand Cramer is currently the Managing Director. He holds a Mechanical Engineering Degree from UK. At the outset, KCC’s Main activity was carrying out’minor and medium-level repairs’ for ships whilst ‘Trading of Ships’& ‘Hiring of Marine ‘equipment’’ was done on a smaller scale. Mr. Cramer was in the Marine field right from his first job and was exposed to multinationals and the international market where he gained immense knowledge and experience in the marine trade, especially in Europe.

Mr.Cramer’s enthusiasm to establish on land was a result of his involvement in ‘Storage Tank Fabrication and Structural Steel Construction Works. KCC was fortunate to be awarded with their first project ‘Manisha Tank Farm Project’ in Srilanka worth of US$ 3,000,000.00

Virtue of this huge success opened up paths for related for activities such as ‘Fabrication of Pipe Lines’ and ‘Civil Construction’ in the year 2002. Since then KCC has carried out many large and medium-scale projects locally and overseas on turnkey and non turnkey basis. the first project overseas was ‘La Farge Cement’ in Switzerland at Thailapusi island in Maldives in the year 2001.

It was in the year 2007 KCC was awarded with a road construction project in Sri Lanka where the exposure to Quarries extended their activities by way of supplying materials and transport services for road projects. Simultaneously, KCC also got involved in ‘Trading Purifying Sea Sand’ for exports to Maldives.

KCC is well equipped with Machineries, Equipment, vehicles, and ships in order to undertake any challenge on LAND as Well as in WATER. A well-trained, skilled labor force of 300 out of which 150 are on permanent cadre, are just ready to serve the company’s motto ‘Quality Construction to comply with international standards’.
